I want to know the pros and cons of eno hammocks and hammock bliss. Which is best?
I haven't used either of them but from what I have heard, read and seen people use, the Bliss is more popular out of the two.
I've tried the hammock thing but it's just not for me. I like sleeping on something more firm and I'm a side sleeper who moves around a lot. I find sleeping on a pad in a tent to be a more comfortable option for me.
Backpacking with a hammock can be a bit of a pain as well. First you need two trees or points to hang the hammock and that can limit you. Second, if you need to set up for the rain it's more work. You need to have a tarp set up to cook, store your pack/gear and just hand out in when it rains. You don't want to be stuck for who knows how long in a hammock laying there until the weather clears. And I always imagined having a bear or another animal coming up to your hammock while your sleeping. I don't think that would be fun.

Im making my room a beach theme and i want to replace my bed with a hammock. Good idea or no?
I'm 13, almost 14 and my rooms been pink for almost three years now. I wanted to paint my walls deep-sea blue, andd decorate it like a beach with coconuts on the walls and stuff. I was thinking about replacing my bed with a comfertable hammock to create more space and to give it that beachy-feel, and throw some bean-bags in there. Good idea or no? Any suggestions?
I don't think the hammock can replace a comfortable mattress on a bed. What about a hammock-type swing that is suspended from the ceiling? Good for lounging about. I not sure why you think a bean bag chair is beachy, even though they are trendy. Use a giant shell to hold some jewelry on your dresser. You can also get a lamp that has a clear glass base and fill it w. tiny shells, and it is easy to glue shells to a mirror frame.

How much weight can an indoor swing support?
I'm 15 and i saw this beautiful 1 person hammock type thing in ikea, and i guess you screw screws into a stud in the ceiling in a room (probably my bedroom) and you hang it. my question is does anyone know how much weight a stud can support? that would really suck for the house to crumble because of a swing
The joists in your ceiling should be 2x6 lumber, so if you hang the swing properly it should support you no problem. The thing is you need to find the center of the joist in the ceiling, drill a pilot hole into it, then thread a 3/8 lag eye bolt that's at least 4 inches long into it and hook your swing to the circle in the end of that eye bolt. The stud should support the weight, the more common problem is people don't use the right equipment to hang it and the screws pull out of the wood. The optimal way to hang one of those is actually to get one of those swing hangers that they make for the wooden playsets and drill a 3/8 hole all the way through the 2x6 ceiling joist (requires you get to it from the attic), then put the swing hanger through the metal bracket that comes with it, all the way through the stud, then attach the other metal bracket and nut at the top. I guarantee that would never pull out or fall down if you hang it that way, but the 3/8 screw in eye-bolt is a good 2nd choice if you can't get to the joist from above or don't have access to a long shaft 3/8 spade drill bit to make the hole.
