I just got a vihuela from Mexico and ive been trying to tune it. theres not much out there on the the net on how to tune it all ive found was that its tuned the same way as the first set of nylon strings on classical guitar and what really gets me is that i have to tune some strings an octave lower than the others i dont know what that is. i know how to play a guitar and tune it standared but ive never heard of an octave

I want to know the pros and cons of eno hammocks and hammock bliss. Which is best?
I haven't used either of them but from what I have heard, read and seen people use, the Bliss is more popular out of the two.
I've tried the hammock thing but it's just not for me. I like sleeping on something more firm and I'm a side sleeper who moves around a lot. I find sleeping on a pad in a tent to be a more comfortable option for me.
Backpacking with a hammock can be a bit of a pain as well. First you need two trees or points to hang the hammock and that can limit you. Second, if you need to set up for the rain it's more work. You need to have a tarp set up to cook, store your pack/gear and just hand out in when it rains. You don't want to be stuck for who knows how long in a hammock laying there until the weather clears. And I always imagined having a bear or another animal coming up to your hammock while your sleeping. I don't think that would be fun.
Some people love them, swear by them, and others just don't. I don't. But we sometimes bring a small, light weight hammock just for lounging at base camp. That's all good.

does my dog have a broken leg?
my little jack russel jumped off a chair and his leg got caught and he was hanging yelping for a few seconds before he got free. now he holds his back leg up in the air and wont walk on it. if u touch his leg he's ok but if you press to hard or try to pull it he yelps. is it broken or sprained? please help.
If it was broken he would be YELPING in pain nonstop. You would also see a broken bone dangling abnormally. It's probably sprained because sprains don't hurt if you don't walk on them or touch them. If it was broken, he would be crying and yelping and he wouldn't let you go near him. Take him to a vet to get it checked out anyway because if it IS sprained it could make it worse if he walks on it.
